Step into Spring: City Flowers Bursting with Colour

Chester City Centre is blooming brighter than ever thanks to the fantastic efforts of local businesses! As part of the Chester BID Step into Spring campaign, businesses across the city have helped plant a stunning selection of seasonal flowers, creating a warm and welcoming environment for shoppers, visitors, and workers alike.

Businesses including Travelbag, Barlounge, Hickory’s joined forces to plant an array of beautiful blooms including Saxifrages, Aubretias, Primroses, Polyanthus, Pansies, and Rosemary. Their contribution has helped transform the city centre into a colourful and vibrant destination for all to enjoy this spring.

We are incredibly grateful to all the businesses who have rolled up their sleeves to help plant these beautiful flowers.
Their support not only brightens our streets but also shows the true community spirit that makes Chester such a special place.
Luka Morrell, Business Engagement Manager at Chester BID

As the days get longer and the city blooms into colour, Chester comes alive with fresh energy. Explore new fashion, seasonal home décor, and exciting outdoor activities around the city. Such as, Chester BID's Easter Trail where children can “eggsplore” Chester by hunting for hidden eggs inside participating businesses for the chance to win a £50 Chester Gift Card. It’s a fun way to enjoy the city while discovering its springtime magic.

A special thank you goes to Walkers Nurseries for supplying the gorgeous flowers that make Chester’s streets shine this season. The Step into Spring campaign continues to celebrate the city’s community spirit, bringing people together and showcasing Chester’s charm in full bloom.
