Lucy & Yak Brings The Big PreLoved Weekender to Chester

Fashion lovers and sustainability-conscious shoppers are being invited to head into Chester this May as Lucy & Yak transforms its city centre store into a dedicated hub for pre-loved treasures as part of The Big PreLoved Weekender.

Taking place from Saturday 23rd – Monday 25th May, the event will see Lucy & Yak’s Chester store become a one stop destination for shoppers looking to discover unique second hand pieces, vintage gems and much-loved Yaks searching for their next home.

For the first time ever, Lucy & Yak stores across the country are becoming fully dedicated PreLoved spaces for the weekend, celebrating the brand’s ongoing mission to keep clothing in circulation and reduce waste. Since launching its PreLoved scheme in 2023, more than 42,000 Lucy & Yak pieces have already been kept in use through returns, repairs and resale.

As part of the initiative, returned garments are carefully restored by the brand’s specialist Re:Yak Studio team before being reintroduced into stores, giving customers the opportunity to discover one-of-a-kind finds at reduced prices while supporting a more sustainable future.

The event is expected to bring a fresh shopping experience to Chester, with visitors encouraged to browse rails of old favourites, uncover unexpected pieces and give a second life to clothing with its own story to tell.
