It’s All Sun & Games as Rooftop Social Club Launches Rooftop Shuffle Club for Summer

Chester’s favourite sky-high hangout has undergone a fresh seasonal makeover, turning its upper level into a laid-back space made for sunshine, spritzes and streetfood.

The sun’s finally out – and so is Rooftop Social Club’s brand new summer look. Chester’s favourite sky-high hangout has undergone a fresh seasonal makeover, turning its upper level into a laid-back space made for sunshine, spritzes and streetfood. Designed to be a space for all seasons - complete with retractable roof and covered cabana - the recent run of warmer weather has shown just how easily Rooftop Social Club can transition from cosy winter vibes to laid-back, sun-soaked fun.

At the heart of the transformation is a new Spritz Bar in partnership with Aperol, serving up a refreshing line-up of Aperol, Sarti and Campari spritzes, while the vintage pink Citroën van will have frozen margaritas and daiquiris on tap. Two full-size shuffle lanes replace last season's featured activity, curling.

Elsewhere on the Rooftop, guests will find plenty of classic outdoor games (think Giant Jenga and Connect 4), and a pop-up fifth kitchen arriving later this month in the venue’s signature airstream trailer— expanding the food line-up alongside Enzo’s Pizza, Death by Tacos, The Fat Greek and Bembé Grill by Chester Zoo.

The refresh also coincides with the launch of Rooftop Social Club’s Spring/Summer drinks menu, created by the team at Liquor & Co. Expect seasonal cocktails, twists on classics and plenty of low and no-alcohol options to keep things cool, whatever your vibe.

Rooftop Social Club is also home to the weekly Big Fat Quiz on the Roof, held every Sunday from 7pm, where guests have the chance to win up to £250 cash alongside a host of other prizes. The venue is also dog friendly, so four-legged guests are just as welcome as two-legged ones.

Rooftop Social Club is open Wednesday to Sunday, 12pm – 10pm. No booking required.
