Chester BID awarded Business Services Firm of the Year

Chester BID is proud to announce it has been awarded Business Services Firm of the Year at the inaugural Downtown in Business Cheshire & North Wales Business Awards.

Held on Friday 6th June at the prestigious Chester Racecourse, the awards ceremony celebrated regional excellence across several sectors.

The awards, brought together over 240 business leaders and representatives from across Cheshire and North Wales to recognise exceptional achievements. Chester BID emerged as the standout Business Services Firm of the Year, showcasing its outstanding dedication to supporting, enhancing, and promoting Chester City Centre.

This recognition comes on the heels of a remarkable year for Chester BID, which secured an overwhelming 96% YES vote in its renewal ballot in 2024—a clear mandate from city-centre businesses.

This award is a fantastic recognition of the hard work and commitment of the Chester BID team and the businesses we represent.

Everything we do is about making Chester a better place to do business, and it’s rewarding to see that effort acknowledged. The 96% YES vote in our 2024 renewal was a clear message of trust from our levy payers—and we remain focused on delivering results that matter to our BID members and the wider city centre.
