Additional Magic Unlocked! – The Hole In Wand Chester reveals it’s new Family Potions Class experience for wizards of all ages.

The Hole In Wand Chester has officially unveiled its newest magical offering in Cheshire, launching the actor-led Potions Experience hidden in the depths of the magical mini golf.

The experience invites witches, wizards, and families to step into a live, interactive theatrical event. Rather than a quiet demonstration, the fully immersive experience puts guests directly into the story. Participants must master the art of potion brewing, face off against ancient Roman unicorn hunters, and cast spells to restore balance to a magical realm that has fallen dangerously out of order.

The 30 minute experience has been trialled over the past few weeks and has received 5 star ratings from those lucky enough to enjoy the experience. Every wizard is welcomed with a potion sample and they also get to take away an award wining potion. For the month of October the experience will be available at an introductory rate of just 5.00 per person.

We wanted to craft a unique magical narrative that honours the area. This experience leans heavily into Roman inspiration—with a necessary dash of unicorns, of course!

The Chester Potions Experience is open to spellcasters aged five and older, perfectly complementing a round of wizarding mini-golf at the main venue. The attraction has won a Trip Advisor top 10% accolade as well as being shortlist as Attraction of the Year at the Visit Cheshire Awards, due to be held in March 2027 and this week was shortlisted in the North Wales, Chester and Wirral Customer Experience Awards in two categories, with winners announced in October.
